Anyone know how to turn off the spring-loaded-folder feature in the binder. I want to be able to drag documents into folders without them popping open: it drives me nuts (I have a ‘lot’ of folders to sort out) and I can’t figure out how to turn the feature off.
Any help greatly appreciated!
The auto-open is automatic and built into OS X, so there’s no way to prevent them from opening at all, but you can set it up so that they close again immediately after dropping. To do so, tick “Collapse auto-expanded outline items after drag and drop” in the Navigation pane of the Preferences.
