Statistics in the toolbar

I read this article and saw the statistics in the toolbar:

davidhewson.com/2009/10/scri … f-writing/

Is there any way I can get it?

Hi,

No, as David said to you in his reply, he’s doing some testing for me so the statistics icon in the toolbar isn’t available publicly just yet (I don’t think he meant to include them in public screenshots  ).

All the best,
Keith

dats the plank...init, Capn Grump sir? :smiling_imp:
rat

Certainly not, because they are part of a very nice article about using Scrivener and I’m very grateful for it. The plank is reserved for you wrong 'uns.

Sure, use that excuse. Why not admit that planking the mysterious one would require a 50% reduction in all things KB.

Hmm. My maths may be off not that I think about it. The DMJ doesn’t seem to do quite as much as the KB persona so really it is more of a (70:30 - 60:40 ) :: KB:DMJ relationship. At least based on evidence I can find.

KB makes me walk the plank practically everyday! I think this is due to some form of ‘The Princess Bride’ “Good work. Sleep well. I’ll most likely kill you in the morning…” type affliction. This somewhat affects my ability to work as well, or as comfortably, as I’d like. That said, on this Forum at least, KB is not only the tip of the iceberg, but much, if not all, of the submerged portion too! So, even at 70:30, you’re being overly generous Jaysen. I guess he accounts for the ship too. Damn. I could be the breeze and the currents? Yes, I’ll be those. I also hoist the flag of Scrivener. (Sometimes a tad too brazenly for Keith’s marketing sensitivities.) Anyway, it is a fine ship and we’re on course for some exciting adventures, and is that even new land I sight on the horizon!

So you are the hurricane, tsunami, “before the mast” sailor, and cabin boy?

Did I get that right?

Mmm… that all makes it sound as though the good ship Scrivener is in for a torrid time. How about the invigorating stern wind, gentle swell, and flag bearing tea (occasionally coffee) maker? Bringing Scrivener to many new creative souls in lands both close and far.

Then you would not be the “evil” alter ego. Given the yin/yang, this would necessitate KB as the “evil” alter ego and as scriv is his “baby” we would need to consider that “evil begets evil” and “like produces like”. Given the level of “good” attributed to scriv, we must conclude that KB is NOT the “evil” alter ego which leave only two possibilities; the “evil” alter ego is DMJ or there is more than one alternate ego such as in the case of one vic-k. While it may be tempting to consider the latter as a possibility given the tardiness of the beer and cheese puff dispensing 2.0, your clear proclivity toward dangerous behavior points to the former (look in your review mirror, can you see past the advertisment? Hmm…).

So there!
