status of Compare button?

i’m currently using Scrivener v1.0.3. I notice there’s a 1.2.x release out now, but scrolling through the release notes it doesn’t seem like a compare button has been added to the snapshots feature, is that correct?

if so, any rough estimates as to when we’ll be able to compare snapshots with Windows Scrivener? and in the meantime, how are people handling version control? currently i’m exporting to Word after finishing my initial draft in Scrivener, and just using Word from then with ‘track changes’ enabled, but perhaps there’s a better way…

This is has been slated as a 2.0 feature (by that it means it was not a part of the original Scrivener implementation on the Mac, but rather something added more recently). These sorts of features will most likely be all rolled together into one larger release, rather than gradually implemented. It depends though, so as with pretty much everything else on the roadmap, I cant give you any estimates.
