I can’t seem to find the option where I tell Scrivener to stretch the background. The image I would like to use get tiled. I’ve attached screenshot.

Try choosing your image from the Project ▸ Project Settings… Background Images pane, and clear the texture you’ve chosen from the Appearance preferences. The latter is for smaller images that are meant to tile.
Hi. Thanks for replying. I don’t see Project -> Project Settings. I tried searching under help and nothing came up either. Can you hep me find this?

Ah sorry, you’re using Scrivener 2, I failed to see that in the subject line. In that case the backdrop option is set via the View ▸ Composition Backdrop ▸ submenu. You can either choose a picture from your drive, or select from one within the project.
