Struggling with Compile Chapter Headings

I’m compiling a novel with Front Matter, Table of Contents , scenes, and Back matter. I need output for KDP paperback and Ebook, so am compiling for PDF and ePub formats.
After many iterations over several months I am almost there with the PDF version. However, I’ve hit a snag which no amount of trial and error has solved and Im tearing my hair out.
There are two Chapter Heading section Types available.
One shows a simple Number, without the heading ‘Chapter’. It looks fine in the body of the book, but the Table of Contents really needs to say Chapter 1 and so on.
The other shows “Chapter One” and underneath “Section Title”. This works perfectly with the Table of contents which shows “Chapter One” through to “Chapter Fifteen”. However the Body of the book shows “Chapter One” (which is great) but below is the title Chapter in a different font.
Can anybody put me out of my misery please?

If you’re referring to the PDF version at the moment, rather than tearing any more of your hair out, I would use the one that works for the body of your book, Compile to RTF or DOCX, open it in your word-processor of choice, sort out the titles in the ToC there and print to PDF from that.

ePub is another matter.

I’ve compiled to DOCX and lost a lot of formatting. (I should say this might be the fault of my setup which is iMac and converts Word processing docs to Pages).
Compiled to RTF and the formatting is better but needs page by page resetting, because chapter headings are randomly positioned. I don’t want to proofread every page (again) so I’ve made a tactical retreat. I have abandoned the Table of Contents and now the bulk of the book is as God intended. (Perhaps I should say those clever people at Literature an Latte intended.)
So I’ve cleared my critical path to launch date (paperback anyway - I hate to think about eBook). That said, if anybody knows how to unlock the Chapter Heading Section Style which just says “Chapter One” without a subsidiary title below it I would be eternally grateful. I know it exists 'cause I’ve seen it, but it isn’t available to me.

You can change the font by editing the relevant Section Layout.

How are the chapters titled in the Binder, and what do you want to appear in the body text?
