When I copy and paste text, or even type in text, I sometimes need to change style. So I bring up the ruler and style sheet, highlight all the text and pull down my own defined style CHAPTER and…nothing happens. The mixed styles stay as they are. But if I click on one line, put insertion point at left, it applies the style, but retains the import alignment (such as centre, indent depth and so on).
Frustrating. Basically I’d like to have 12 pt courier for the whole document, including everything I import. Can you advise?
