[Suggestion] Custom Meta-Data

The first time I went to add custom meta-data I failed to realize where you typed in the title. So I had two different lists filled with options with no title. As a result, blank lines are added to the meta-data panel and in the outline view. I was very confused until I realized that my lists needed names and that’s why everything was blank. Perhaps it these should be forced to have some sort of title or a default one automatically inputted?

Also, the new types of meta-data are great except I find myself in need of selecting more than one option from my lists. For example, I have a list of settings and in one chapter I might have two or three different settings. Is there or will there be a way to add multiple inputs?

I have no idea if multi-valued custom meta data fields will be possible in the future, but already now you can use keywords for this purpose. I use keywords for all meta information which values I only want to select, not type (e.g. for categories like settings, characters, contexts, weapons, theme elements, etc.). My settings keywords might look like this:

s:London
s:London:Peter’s Pub
s:London:Old Church
s:London:Old Church:Cemetery
s:London:Old Church:Crypt

I use the prefixes for the keyword categories to be able to distinguish a s:London setting from e.g. a character named London. When Mr. Fred London appears in a scene I use the keyword c:London.

By this, and even better so when Regex search will work on keywords, you can easily search for all scenes taking place in London or just in the Old Church, etc.
