[Suggestion] Edit-Repeat Command (Ctrl-y) does not work to re-apply styles

Good evening

An Edit - Repeat command is wonderful…
but the latest beta does not repeat “apply style to text” commands.

Thanks a lot, kind regards,
Thomas

To clarify, Ctrl-Y will only apply a style once Ctrl-Z has been used to remove it. Is this the behaviour that is not working correctly?

Thanks a lot for your clarification!,
yes, Ctrl-y and Ctrl-z are just the undo/redo commands (I had misinterpreted the German translation)

My idea was to ask for a real ‘repeat the last command’ Hotkey, similar to F4 in M$ Office.
This command just repeats the last used command. E.g.:
» Change the font for the selected text, then select another text and use F4 to apply the same font to the new text.
» Apply a style to the paragraph containing the cursor, move the cursor to another paragraph and press F4 to apply the same style to the new paragraph

Such a command would be very useful.

Got it! In that case I will mark this thread as a Suggestion for us to take a look at.

Thanks!
