Not sure if this is really a bug, or just the way in which the feature has been implemented. If I search for a word, close the search box and then want to find the next instance of the same word, I think I should be able to press F3 without having to reopen the search box and retype my search, but I can’t. Search “forgets” the term you were searching for as soon as you close the box. Same with Shift-F3 (previous instance), which also only works if you keep the search box open. Since the search box hides the text you’re trying to read, it would be great if the shortcuts worked after it’s closed (as it does in Ms Word).
