Is there any chance that Scrivener gets support for the ODB Editor Protocol? I’m using WriteRoom and QuickCursor together and would love to see Scrivener work with WriteRoom.

Hi,
Can I ask why you would want this? Scrivener isn’t a text editor, so I’m not sure ODB would be a good fit.
All the best,
Keith
I’m sorry I got it the wrong way. What I wanted was to use WriteRoom to edit text from scrivener. This is already possible. Still maybe there is someone outside who benefit from it.
Out of interest, why do you want to edit your text in WriteRoom? Don’t get me wrong, I’m a big fan of WriteRoom myself, but when you’re working on a large project in Scrivener, doesn’t Scrivener’s own Compose mode do everything you need?
I probably shouldn’t stick my nose in, but I’ve found that QuickCursor + WriteRoom is a useful way of temporarily getting a much larger font for writing something in a panel in various applications. I work on a 13" MBA, and sometimes panels are a bit too small for comfortable work. The notes panel in Sente is a bit small, for example, and the font isn’t adjustable, so flicking into QC / WR is very useful. Also, in Scrivener, the same is very useful if I want to write a footnote and want to temporarily blank out the rest of the screen while I do so – plus the aforementioned advantage of the larger font, of course. But perhaps the OP has other reasons.
Best, Martin.
