Sync external folder; how to set up?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could explain briefly how to set up a sync with an external folder, in the following case:

  1. To sync ONLY CERTAIN FOLDERS in my Draft folder

  2. so that I can work on pieces of my draft ON MY IPAD with an RTF editor (any ideas?),

and

  1. have them SYNC BACK to Scrivener in RTF format.

Is this possible? Could it be in the future?

Hi Rich,

The only way to do this is to create a collection containing the items you wish to sync, and choosing “Sync only documents in collection”.

Unfortunately, I don’t believe there are any RTF editors available on the iPad at the moment.

We are working on our own app for the iPad and iPhone, so rich text sync should be possible in the future.
