Synchronization between two devices, of two different operating systems.

Good morning.
I use Writing for Windows, and I love it.
I would also like to buy the Ipad version.
Can I synchronize the two programs?
If I start a document on Windows, can I continue writing on the Ipad afterward, the same document, and update it?
Thank you.

Many thanks !

My pleasure. Do make sure to go through the other advisories on iOS sync’ing etc. and using Dropbox and cloud services to avoid running into problems. For sync’ing projects on iOS and Windows or Mac, there are other methods apart from Dropbox, though they tend to be more convoluted, and be aware that for technical reasons, Dropbox is the only cloud sync service that works.

I’m reading the documentation well.
The doubt remains on DropBox.
I hope I can use the Free version. But I think not.

If you’re only using it for Scrivener and don’t fill your projects with lots of (big) images, the free version is plenty big enough. I have a project split into a lot of small documents which compiles into about 90 pages. It’s 1.8 MB on the SSID … you can store 1,000 projects of that size in 2 GB

A complete novel which I helped my collaborator translate from English to Chinese, with the full English and Chinese texts plus lots of comments and a number of images to help her, weighs in at 2.7 MB.

I don’t use images. Not many.
I bought the version for iPad.
Now I just have to figure out how to synchronize everything.

I love Scrivener.
