When I try to adjust a tab stop or indent, I see its position displayed to a granularity of .01 inches … but I can’t control where I place it, with that precision. I might end up with 3.24 in one paragraph and 3.26 in another, when I wanted 3.25 in both. Is there a better way to control this?
There’s not, unfortunately, and I agree that it can be a bit fiddly on occasion - it’s handled by Apple’s OS X text system, though, not by Scrivener (and thus you’ll find the same thing in TextEdit).
One more reason not to used tabs or indents, I guess. They just too quirky.
