Table Header Rows.

When creating a table, is it possible to define the first n rows as header rows that will repeat at the top of a page if the table runs over a page break? I have searched the various forums and knowledge bases, but have not found how to achieve this.

MS-Word, for example, offers this option as “Repeat as header row at the top of each page” on the Rows tab in Table Properties.

If Scrivener cannot currently do this, is this something that you would consider for a future version?

Thank you.

Unfortunately the table feature is provided by the text engine, it isn’t something we have any direct control over. You’re right though, there is nothing like a formal header row, but what you can do is just rough out the tables in Scrivener, get the data in them, and then worry about making them look good in Word after you compile.
