Table - weird behaviour

Hi,

I’m trying to insert a table created in Word 2016 into a table page in my project. For some reason, and its probably a setting I have wrong, when I complie the document, the table is spilt and the first row appears on one page and the rest of the table appears on the next page, with a big gap between them.

Any ideas please.

It’s kind of hard to say without seeing it, but that could describe what happens when there is a very tall cell. You wouldn’t even need Scrivener to double-check that, just try pasting into TextEdit with its page view enabled. I get all manner of table breakage when working with a very tall cell.
