Every time I open Scrivener, I get an error message that says “Tablet Version Mismatch.” Please reinstall tablet software. What does that mean?

A quick Google search on “Tablet Version Mismatch” suggests that this is related to Windows drivers or other software, not Scrivener.
Best I can suggest is to use your favorite search engine(s) to do such a search and see where that leads. You might also check support forums and knowledge bases of whoever is the manufacturer of your computer. Is it a tablet? What make, model, version of Windows, etc.?
For what it is worth, the local Best Buy let me install and test the Scrivener for Windows demo on a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 running real Windows 8 and it ran without any such messages while using the touch interface and onscreen keyboard.

I suspected as much, but I’m using a desktop. And I only get this error message when I open Scrivener. Go figure.
