I’ve just downloaded WriteRoom creator Jesse Grosjean’s latest project. It’s only at the first alpha stage, but I can already see the potential. If an intuitive simple list tool fills your need, this could be the one to watch.

Get it while it’s hot folks!

Got it. Using it. Love it.

And, of course, there is always Listz

Thank you LL. I’m wandering over there right now.

If you’ve been thinking of getting it, TaskPaper is on sale today for $11 at http://www.mupromo.com/.

Although it’s only $18.95 anyway, so I say buy it from Hog Bay direct, as Jesse deserves every cent of profit - he’s one of the coolest OS X developers out there (and there are a lot of very nice OS X developers, in my experience). But then most of you knew that already… (I only just realised that he links Scrivener directly from the main WriteRoom page; I’m returning that huge favour with the new Scrivener product page.)

Touché.

You know what I mean.

As an update, TaskPaper is now at ver. 1.01/23. It’s developing into a powerful utility, yet still manages to retain a clean and simple interface. There are a few bugs - it can for example, occasionally throw a hissy and refuse to cooperate, but overall it certainly receives my thumbs up. If you use lists but find GTD apps a mite too rigid and heavy for your requirements, TaskPaper is well worth evaluating. You’ll find it here:
