Template exchange

I’m a new user and I am really liking how Scrivener supports the way that I work. One thing I can see that I would like is access to document templates for more scenario’s or types of writing than are available ‘out of the box’. This reminds me of Bento and it’s template exchange - a web site where users of the program can post their own templates.

I know that I have the need to create a number of different types of documents, including technical and professional documents with specific requirements. The ability to use templates to set them up is great, and the ability to share templates with other users would reduce the workload significantly.

Does someone already have a site like this, or would it be a useful addition to the Literature and Latte site? If you add a rating system and a download count, if would be somewhat self-filtering.

Thanks for the great work!

Hi,

We have definite plans to add just such a feature to the site next year, after 2.0 is out (which allows for much nicer templates). I haven’t looked into the technical side of it yet (I’ll be doing that once the 2.0 code is out of the way), but this is certainly something we want to do.

Thanks and all the best,
Keith
