Can somebody help me to find a good tutorial on how to make a templates?
Thanksa lot.
We don’t really have that information in tutorial format. Creating project templates are covered in the user manual, §7.7.2, starting on page 58. The basic idea is extremely simple, however. Templates are at their core just regular old projects that have been frozen in place via the File/Save as Template...
menu command. So the idea is to use the program as you normally would to set everything up the way you want. Everything that goes into a project will become a part of the template. That includes all of the view settings like whether labels tint icons, whether splits are open, compile settings, whether line numbering is turned on—all the way down to the very documents in the binder and the content within them, their meta-data in the Inspector pane and even their snapshots and which ones are selected for viewing in the editor. Just basically the project becomes your template. Whenever you start from that template in the future, you’ll get a new project that looks and feels exactly as you left it. The section in the user manual that I referenced will go over other tricks and details for this, but what I’ve said here is really all you need to know to make a basic template.
