Text added

I don’t know the Mac version of Scrivener so have only the windows version to comment on.

When I have an existing page of text, I occasionally add a word, or sentence, even paragraph here and there. In order to highlight this new text which is often randomly written, I change the text colour to red (say) - but I have to remember to do this and it has to be done with each new insert. Is there an option in any Scrivener version that allows all this new work to be automatically typed in a new colour?

If not, I’ll shut up, go back into my dark corner and ponder on how much chocolate I can eat before I explode…

Yes, this is a 2.0 feature available on the Mac, so it’s on the slate for Windows as well, post release. Revision level “pens” do just what you want. There will be a set number with predictable colours, and whenever one is enabled, whatever you type will be marked in that colour. Later you’ll be able to strip these out by level once you are done with them, as well as search for them by level.

Oh yum yum …

Thank you .!
