Hi. I am a Scrivener beginner. I did text and paragraph formatting for a test file. I have a few presets I made. My question is how to know the applied preset for certain text or title… in other words, If I click on a text, how can I know which preset I’m using for this specific text. Noting that I’m using Scriver for Windows version 1. Thanks in advance.
Basically presets are a way of storing some formatting, so you can easily apply it to text later. That’s all they are! There is no concept of that text then being in any way associated with, or assigned to that preset. You can apply five presets to the same text and all it will do is apply one set of formatting after another.
What you’re referring to in concept are styles. That is something that will be coming in version 3, currently in public beta.
