I’ve got maybe four pages in a text document open - the first of five in file. I scroll down to the end of the document and the last half a page or so is missing. (I know it should be there, because I saved a compiled back up before I finished editing yesterday.
So I delete the last visible line I can see on screen, and the first line of the text I know is missing appears in its place. Delete that, the next line of missing text appears.
An update - just deleted all the text in the wonky Scrivener document and copied & pasted the text from my back up RTF file back to the same Scrivener doc. The text is there - but when I go to another Scriv document and then back to the wonky one the same chunk of text is missing.
I’ve checked the relevant RTF file within the Scrivener ‘files’ folder and the text is there in entirety.
I’ve tried creating a new Scrivener document and copying and pasting text from my back up RTF file, but get the same problem.
With regret, I think I’ll have to stop using Scrivener for now until this is resolved.
