I’ve just downloaded scrivener for the trial, and have gone through most of the tutorial.
However, when it comes to actually writing into a project, all my text is over writing itself on the same line. It doesn’t matter whether I type it in manually, or copy/paste it in from elsewhere, it all just ends up on the same line, over and over.
I’ve attached a picture of what it looks like. Am I just missing something obvious or is this an actual bug?
(I have Windows 10 if that helps)

I’m guessing you started with an HTML copy and paste, and injected text with some unusual spacing params, and are now typing into that. Recommend you try Documents > Convert > Formatting to Default Text Style or Select All in Scriv’s editor, then cut and paste. (Ctrl-A Ctrl-X Ctrl-V). It’s annoying, but pasting into Scrivener from HTML often requires a formatting fix.
