Typing a short abbreviation and pressing the tab key, expanding the abbreviation into a text snippet. As it can be tedious typing out the same set of words every time.
Example: If the user typed “na” then pressed the tab key, it would expand into what’s shown below, then the items in blue can be filled in. But, if the user wanted to customize abbreviations however they please, they could do so in preferences under “text editing” as “<#dialog#>?” <#name#> asked.<# #>; where the user can change the snippet or make another such as “<#dialog#>,” she said.<# #> (expanded by the user typing “ss”, followed by the tab key).
