Have I told you lately how much I love Scrivener! For writing my novel as well as my essays! 8)
A few short questions: I am working with the Chicago essay template, is there any way that the program will automatically do footnotes? And put my references and notes in the correct format? And if so, Do you have any video tutorials related to these topics?
You have a wonderful product and I recommend it to everyone.
Many thanks for the kind words! There are a couple of ways of doing footnotes, although perhaps the easier is via the inspector (Format > Footnote). Footnotes that appear in the inspector become real footnotes when exported to RTF and suchlike. You can use reference software such as Bookends in conjunction with Scrivenerโs footnotes feature, too.
Hi Keith,
I would like to have footnotes and not endnotes. I want the footnotes to appear on every page. Do I need to have a special citations / management program to do this? Or can Scrivener do it alone?
