The file “Files” doesn’t exist.

I updated to the latest version of Scrivener for iOS this morning. I’m now receiving the error:

Sync failed.
An error occurred when trying to create a local directory.

Error: The file “Files” doesn’t exist.
(The file doesn’t exist.)

I’m on a deadlne. I don’t have access to my computer. I’ve rebooted my iPad. No luck. I can’t sync. Hence, I have no access to my files.

I’m on iOS 11 (15A372) on an iPad Pro.
On my MacBook Air, I have the latest update for Scrivener for Mac. I can’t tell you the version because, well, no computer access. But it’s a relatively new computer and I bought Scrivener for it only 2 months ago when I switched to Mac from my previous Windows laptop with Scrivener for Windows on it. I have NOT opened any of my projects on Scrivener for Windows since I switched to the Mac.

I can’t access Dropbox with a desktop version of Scrivener to verify whether any of the files on Dropbox have been affected.

Are you at iOS Scrivener 1.1.2 or 1.1.3? v1.1.3 might’ve been made available after you updated.

I’m not sure your circumstance is the same but another user had the same message arise along with the inability to sync. Their cure was to update to 1.1.3.
