I keep getting The NaNoWriMo servers did not return a valid response. Please try again later
and password not correct.
I have changed the password to not have symbols just words but it still doesn’t like it. Please help

I’m having the same issue on Mac (version 3.3.1). Same simple password that worked fine last year.

Having the same issue as well. Symbols should not be the issue @cookiek123 as my password has always had at least one symbol to ensure it’s strength. This has never been an issue til this year. I have to sign out and sign back in and it works for maybe 1-2 syncs.

I would guess the NaNo servers are swamped because it’s the first day.

glad to know i’m not the only one having trouble.

The NaNoWriMo word count update feature is now working as expected for me, so I suspect that it was just a temporary server glitch.

but now my word count is permanently stuck at 3256 words no matter how much I add in? Is that just me?
