The Ottoman Judges and Their Registers

Dear Scriveners,

I’m happy to announce that my latest “masterpiece” was published last week in two volumes.

(The Ottoman Judges and Their Registers, The Bursa Court Register B-90/295 (Dated AH 1081/AD 1670-71, Introduction and Text (Entries 1-600). Vol. I. Sources of Oriental Languages and Literatures 79, Cambridge: Harvard University, The Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations.
The Ottoman Judges and Their Registers, The Bursa Court Register B-90/295 (Dated AH 1081/AD 1670-71, Text (Entries 601-998) and Facsimile. Vol. II. Sources of Oriental Languages and Literatures 80, Cambridge: Harvard University, The Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations. )

It is basically transliteration of a 17th century Ottoman court register with summaries both in Turkish and English.

Thank you Keith! I think I’d not have finished it if it weren’t for Scrivener.

Best wishes

Nurcan ABACI

Congratulation, Nurcan. Great achievement.

Since you are here, what about telling a little of your academic work with Scrivener? I would find your experience very interesting, as I’m sure others would.
