Maybe I am too new to this and haven’t found it, but I think it would be cool if you had some type of time-line feature in the software. I haven’t found anything I have liked yet so I currently just build my own in an excel document (granted its something new I haven’t done in the past). So something you could create a time line and link to specific chapters.
I recommend you have a look at the sub-forum here for Aeon Timeline: http://www.literatureandlatte.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=27.
Also, if you do a search of the entire Literature and Latte forum for “time-line” or “timeline”, you’ll find plenty of previous threads where this proposition (i.e. timeline functionality for Scrivener) has been discussed.
Hugh, the OP is on Windows, so Aeon is currently a non-starter. But in the Windows forums there is a user Almansur who has produced some sort of timelines software that is interfacing with Scrivener. I can’t remember the details, but I recommend the OP to go through the Windows forums, where they’ll find it.
Apologies to jna for leading him down the wrong path.
