Tinderbox and Scrivener

I have a love/hate relationship with Tinderbox. Love what it can do, hate the pain and suffering sometimes required to make it do even theoretically simple things. Every few years, I’ll dive in, only to run away screaming in a matter of days or weeks.

I’m in a cautiously optimistic mode right now, having managed to get notes for a reasonably sized project into Tinderbox and then back out to Scrivener with only three trips into the morass of their documentation, one terse support email exchange, and half an hour lying on the floor of my office petting the cats. We’ll see.

Part of the problem is that the learning curve is so steep that unless you really use it consistently and often, it’s like starting over every single time. Bleh.
