I am compiling from Scrivener version 3.1.1 to ePub 3. When I start the compile, the process terminates with the attached error. Before I start to trouble shoot this in detail, does anyone happen to know off the top of their head what the problem might me? Thx
During the compilation process, Scrivener assigns temporary information to each section block that it can extract while splitting everything up again into HTML files for ebook support. This error means that Scrivener cannot find the necessary information for a particular section. It’s possible there is an unexpected blank section in there, or it’s possible that there’s a bug causing Scrivener not to find it.
The easiest way to get to the bottom of this is to zip up and send us a copy of the project so that I can take a look (either email it to Mac.support AT literatureandlatte.com for my attention, or attach a sample project you don’t mind being public that shows the error to your reply here).
I’m afraid it’s unlikely I’ll be able to look at this until the New Year, however, as I am away for two weeks for the Christmas holidays tomorrow, and I’m currently working with dial-up speeds thanks to a British Telecom issue in my area. If you send the project today and BT fixes the problem so that I can download anything, though, I’ll do my best to take a look.

I meant to post back on this topic, but forgot. I confirmed there was a blank section (a text file with no content) in my manuscript. I typed in a few words, re-compiled, and it worked. Thx.
