Title Page and Chapter Headers Formatting Issues

So I am compiling my manuscript to send out a few partials. I go to Compile > Select PDF as format, and include the title page as the front matter and click compile… annnnnd, I am getting some very odd issues.

First off, the title page looks corrupted (I never touched the template) and above the misaligned and screwed up title it reads CHAPTER ONE… when i look below Chapter 1 is spelled out and above it reads CHAPTER 2, and this continues though the manuscript.

It’s really odd… I have compiled this document before and had no issues… just started happening tonight.

This is my first post, so I am sorry if this was answered before. I did a few searches and came up blank.

That just sounds as though you have override formatting turned on, and that the title page is not set to “As-Is”. I recommend taking a look at our videos on Compile:

literatureandlatte.com/video.php

But you should just need to tick “Compile As-Is” for the title page from what you say.

Hope that helps.

All the best,
Keith

I’ll give that a try this morning and report back! Thanks.

It worked! I had no idea how I missed that.

Great! Glad you’re up and running!
