Total project word count?

Is there a way to see the total project word count in the iOS version?

While editing a document, tap on the number of words in the header/footer bar (it’s in the header on my phone’s screen; YMMV). This is covered in the tutorial, located in the document “The Editor”, under the heading “Targets” in that document.

Thank you!

I am having the same problem. I cannot get the total word count of my project. I have 26 chapters in the binder. All I can ever get is the word count per chapter. I have read the section on Targets in the IOS tutorial, but it does not make any sense. Every time I try to get statistics, it only gives me the word count for the particular chapter that is open.
Can someone please help? Just a reference to a tutorial does not help that much when you do all of the steps that are suggested, and it still does not give me the total project word count.
Best regards and thanks in advance.

Have you tried:
While editing ANY document which will be in your final output…

If that doesn’t work, are your chapters in the correct place in the Binder?

Finally, open your chapter’s Inspector; is the document set to Include in Compile?

Hi. Thanks for that.
Yes, I was aware that all my files had to be in the binder. Yes I was aware how to get the various stats out, I just could not get the total. The problem, as you correctly suggested, was that the chapters didi not have the ‘Include in Complie’ set. Once I did that I was able to get the project total. Thanks for your help and the effort you put into the post.
Best Regards
Steve

No problem!
