Transferring existing ms files to a new computer

Hi. I’m setting up a new laptop and had to reinstall Scrivener (a newer update version (1.7 to 1.9). Can I transfer my manuscript files and open on the new dl of Scrivener or is there a process I need to do?

The only thing to be wary of is to make sure that you transfer the entire .scriv folder, with all of its subfolders.

I’d recommend making sure that the project is up and running on the new computer before you dispose of the old one.
