I have downloaded Scrivener from the CD, but have the trial version on my laptop. How do I transition? One possibility seems to be to enter my license number, but nothing on the CD indicates what that is? Thanks,

You probably don’t need to reinstall, the software is only distributed as an unlockable demo, even on the CD, so what you have running on your computer is good enough. When you purchased the software you would have been sent an invoice with the serial number, I’d print that out and keep it safe along with the CD for future reference. If you can’t find the e-mail, you can request it be resent via this service from our vendor.
