i hope i’m posting this in the correct subforum…
I am currently running the test version of Scrivener and wanted to buy it on saturday (2 days ago) and since then i always get a failed connection with " store.esellerate.net" when i use the link on the scrivener page to buy it… so i think the problem is on their side. I’ve only got a few days left on the trial period and i would prefer to buy the program via your website instead of the Apple store… any suggestions?
How far are you getting? I can get all the way to the checkout screen (I don’t go any further because I don’t actually want to buy another licence).
As soon as i click the link i get the no connection error as if the server was down.
Will try it with NoScript etc. turned off…
Nope, still no success with firefox or safari. “Safari can’t connect to server” (paraphrased, because i am in Germany.)
Edit: If you can access their website, the problem must be on my side somewhere…
Do you use Little Snitch or anything of that nature? An instantaneous failure like that suggests that network request isn’t even leaving your computer.
