I’m new to scrivener and trying to memorize some shortcuts to speed things up when writing. Can someone tell me how to assign shortcuts keys to this part of the image I’m showing? I already searched the key options and this ones do not appear. Sorry if I’m missing something. Oh, and I know about ctrl+tab switching between “big objects”, but I’m looking for something that can change without changing to the binder too.
I have not found a way to do it neither…
The only poor workaround I use to switch only between the two splits of the Editor is to close the binder (when I know I won’t need it for some time).
(makes me think that it could be nice to have a floating binder in some instances, but that’s something else)
If the command isn’t in the Keyboard options, then I don’t think you can. But don’t alt-vvl and alt-vvr work in the normal way — not a single command, but better than using the stupid mouse…
(If you use Autohotkeys, I suppose you could combine these keystrokes into a single command.)
Usually going to the Binder isn’t an issue for me, so I use ctrl+tab to switch between Binder and the Editors.
But when I don’t want the Binder involved, I’ll use menu shortcuts as brookter mentions above. Or I’ll ctrl+shift+B and hide the binder, at which point ctrl+tab only switches between the two editors.
