I opened up the tutorial file after downloading and installing Scrivener, but the file seems to be empty/blank. There is no content in it, no instructions, nothing except for the name of the file “tutorial.scriv” in the application window. Am I missing something?
Fonts, probably… Have you disabled any fonts on your system? If you’ve disabled certain system fonts then you could certainly see this behaviour. Make sure the main fonts - Helvetica, Lucida Grande and Courier in particular - are enabled on your system.
