Two dashes not converting to an em-dash, three periods not converting to ellipsis

I have the option boxes checked, but it’s not working.

Hi,
You haven’t mentioned whether you have set these up the way you want them using the menu Tools - Options - Corrections.

If not, that will hopefully solve your problem.

If you have set this up, then I can’t help because this works for me and I haven’t faced this problem.

I did mention it, or at least that’s what I meant when I said I have the options boxes checked.

Anybody else have an idea?
