Two inch top margin only on chapter title page

Hello,

I am formatting my dissertation. How do set the margin to be 2" on each new chapter page, but 1" for each page in the chapter.

No problem, you’re going to want to use the Formatting compile option pane to do this. Select the type of item that is generating your chapters (folders, etc) in the top table, and then in the editor below, find the padding option on the upper right side. It is in lines, not inches, so you might have to experiment at bit to get precisely 1" off of the regular margin.
