Trying to activate the typewriter mode, I have tried the Ctrl-Meta-T hotkey and also going through options-format. Tried options for editor screen and turned on typewriter for new projects but had no luck with any of them. I have a large monitor and this facility would be useful to keep the cursor from twisting my neck out. Anything I have missed please?
I know this sounds silly but did you place the cursor in the editor before trying to activate typewriter scrolling?
Thanks for suggestion… made me smile. Yes I have the cursor in the editor window and can type fine, but not in typewriter mode i.e. cursor stays in place and text scrolls. Pretty much everything works as per the tutorial except I cannot get it to enter typewriter mode either on this PC which is a pain ( too big a monitor) or on a netbook ( which really does not matter.)
Sorted, have re-installed and it works fine now. Program does not lag so much either.
