Filling out notes in several projects suddenly has a severe typing lag. This is not a problem with other programs, Word and Scrivener, whether or not they are running at the same time.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to correct this problem?
I did see a similar problem was posted earlier, but that person’s repair/correction has not solved my situation

This can be an issue with very complex documents with lots of notes or images. You might want to think about splitting the document up into separate Scapple boards, with links between them.
It can also happen if you a custom background texture set.
