UI Appearance Glitch in Page Setup dialog

Scrivener 3.2.2, Big Sur 11.5.1, Macbook Air 11, early 2015
Method to reproduce:

  1. Choose File->Page Setup…
  2. In the dialog, select “Scrivener” from the topmost drop down menu.
  3. Click on “Text” in the panes list. (If the problem doesn’t show up, I’ve found that clicking on a different pane, then clicking on “text” again will produce it.)

Expected result: all controls are fully visible.
Actual result: the font dropdown list is partly obscured (see screenshot.)

This is only a cosmetic bug, as the drop down (at least on my machine) can be clicked on and used. But it is a bit startling. :smiley:

I take it back; this is a usability issue. In my outlines pane, one or another item is always inaccessible. In the screenshot below, both the Titles checkbox and the Indent by level checkbox are completely invisible. If I close the dialog and reopen it, a different item or two may be obscured and the title and indent checkboxes visible, but something is always missing.

I can reproduce the glitches using the same software versions as SD on a 2017, 13" Macbook Air, regardless of screen resolution (internal screen).

Thanks for checking this; an MBA 11 screen is pretty darn tiny (768 pixels vertical max) so I’d wondered if it was my my screen resolution.

Thanks for the report! I’ve got it added to the list.
