Unable to navigate

Hi,

When I open my dissertation (from the DropBox), it stays on the previous document no matter what I do to navigate to another; it is not on lock, I checked that first. The binder selections show that I have selected them, but they effect no change in the main window. The buttons for changing view between the document, cork board, and outliner, do not work either. The problem started a couple of days ago.

When I open other scrivener projects, they work fine.

I just tried going into the backups, which are saved locally to a different location, but those are acting the same way - no navigating. If I go back far enough, the backup does work fine, but I have made a lot of changes since then. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Update: Wow - so much for it being a possible Dropbox issue - I just tried opening a much earlier version of the file that was on my Mac - not in the Dropbox at all - and it has the same issue.

Is the view getting stuck on PDFs, and are you on OS X 10.10, by chance? If so, this is a known issue. That article should help you find a work-around.
