I am on a macbook pro running ventura 13.3 and recently updated Scrivner to the latest version 3.4. Now I am unable to open my project. It is my book and I have been working on it since 2017. If I lose this file I will be absolutely devastated. Is there a way I can go back to the older version of scrivner to open this file? How can I get someone to help me. This is such an important file.
What specifically happens when you attempt to open the file?
I get a spinning. pinwheel.
Ventura is up to version 13.7.4. I’d update it as a first step.
If that doesn’t help, try opening Scrivener without any projects, which you can do by holding the Shift key when the program starts. Does it open successfully? If so, does the project you’re trying to open still pinwheel?
