Undoing typing one letter at a time

I’m not sure whether this is a bug or a feature, but in other programs when I type a string of text and then click “undo,” it undoes whatever I typed since the last time I did something different. Eg. in Word, if I cut and paste something, then type a word, then click undo, it deletes the word I just typed. Scrivener undoes the typing one character at a time. I know there are other ways to delete things, but it seems like “undo” ought to be one of them.

I’m using Scrivener beta version 1.6 with Windows Vista .

Right : I’m struggling with that one too… :confused:

I just logged in to mention that very thing. I might as well use backspace or delete if I can only undo one character at a time. Redo is the same way - one character at a time.

I’m using Scrivener 1.6 Beta with Windows 7.
