update to 1.0.3, now purchased version is not workin

Hi,

I just updated my purchased version of scrivener for windows from 1.0.0 to 1.0.3
Now I cannot open scrivener any more, I don not even get an error message. It just doesnt react. I tried to open old beta version; same it doesnt work.
What can I do?

I had this happen to me. I had to reinstall the C++ runtime to get it to work. In the Scrivener folder, go into resources then “vcpp.” Run the “vcredist_x86.exe” file.

If that doesn’t work, try completely uninstalling Scrivener, then reinstalling it.
