Update within Beta

When trying to update from RC1 2.9.9.1 to 2.9.9.2 the update feature is telling me that its all up to date. If I check he version info it shows 2.9.9.1.

I am using Win 10 2004 build 19592.1001
Scrivener 2.9.9.1 (64bit)

Same here.

Seems to be a minor glitch with the hotfix. I downloaded in manually and installed it. When I start Scrivener the expiry date notice still says RC1 (14 April), but “About Scrivener…” says 2.9.9.2

And I now have two Scrivener entries in my list of installed apps: can I safely uninstall the older one with losing all my settings?

Also experiencing this problem!

(ETA just to clarify: haven’t downloaded manually yet – was planning to do so in the morning – so can’t yet comment on the multiple-installations issue mentioned above; have thus far only experienced the ‘all up to date’ error listed in the first post, and didn’t see the additional response before commenting.)

As of late Evening (EST) the updater showed ver 2.9.9.2. Downloaded and installed no problems. Opened and reported expiration date of 14 Apr 2020.

Unlike jje I only show 2 versions in my app list. Mine still shows a 2.9.0.23 (which I have no intention of modifying) while the other is 19160 (I have purchased) that one.

Thanks L&L.

The update installer binary should be fixed now. Give it a try, if you have not updated manually already.
