Using Skim with Scrivener for researching & writing a Thesis

Hullo, I’ve been away for a while, but bad news for you: I’m back

A colleague on the Twitter hashtag #phdchat asked me to elaborate on how I used Skim with Scrivener when writing up my doctoral thesis. I promised him a short blog post. This was two weeks and 2k words ago, and I’ve finally finished it. If this interests you, please take a look at the post:

I would like to emphasise though, that there’s plenty of ways to skin a cat, and this is just the workflow that I found to be the most comfortable for me, in this situation. It is by no means meant as a prescription for others, just a resource!

I’ll be making the examiners’ corrections to my thesis this Summer, so I’ll be getting back into Scrivener mode (I’ve missed it, big time), and I’m really looking forward to seeing what 2.0 can do.
