Ventura made Scrivener disappear! do I need new license code?

I’ve been too busy. Didn’t read up on Scrivener and Ventura. Installed Ventura a few days ago. Went to open a Scrivener file. The file was corrupted. I found my backup of the file. It just wouldn’t open. Discovered that Scrivener had disappeared from my App folder. So I redownloaded just now. It appears to work fine. (v. 3.2.3.) My templates are as they were, too. But one question: will I need a new license code? The app doesn’t seem to think so, for it never asked me to register or fill it in. but one never knows.

Short answer: No. Long answer: Nooooo.

If you had Scrivener version 1 or 2 installed, you will need to upgrade your licence at some point.

If you had Scrivener version 3 installed, everything should be fine.

If it hasn’t flagged that is is running in trial mode, you probably have a v3 licence and all is well.
